Cover Artwork Remix of Bon Jovi Lay Your Hands On Me Original Cover Artwork of Bon Jovi Lay Your Hands On Me Not the first remix of a piece of cover artwork for Bon Jovi. This time it is his 1989 single Lay Your Hands On Me. Quite how the picture of Mr Jovi on the original cover of the single is meant either to represent the laying on of hands, or enticing you in to wanting to lay your hands on him is unclear. In the remix we see a practical example of laying on of hands which is equally representational and enticing in equal measure. Grab!

Cover Artwork Remix of Vengaboys Skinny Dippin Original Cover Artwork of Vengaboys Skinny Dippin A user submitted entry from Pim Weermuizje from the Netherlands. Pim has sent us his remix of Skinny Dippin' by Vengaboys. Pim tells us that this was actually a B-side, but was very popular nonetheless. The original cover sees the Vengaboys (of which at least 2 appear to be girls) posing by a swimming pool. The remix shows a guy in the sea and a girl getting undressed, both about to go dippin in a skinny fashion. Thank Pim. Hydration!

June Is Bustin' Out All Over - Joanie Sommers

Cover Artwork Remix of June Is Bustin Out All Over Joanie Sommers Original Cover Artwork of June Is Bustin Out All Over Joanie Sommers June Is Bustin' Out All Over - yes - it's finally June and there's a hint of summer in the air. Joanie Sommers sang this heliocentric song from the musical Carousel but the single never had a cover, so the original artwork here is just the cover of the actual 7" vinyl label, modified to be square instead of circular, because that's the way we like to roll. The remix adds in a babe who is definitely bustin' out in many different ways. Pop!

Sunlight - DJ Sammy

Cover Artwork Remix of Dj Sammy Sunlight Original Cover Artwork of Dj Sammy Sunlight It might just be our warped minds, but on the original cover of Sunlight by DJ Sammy, it appears the Mr Sammy himself is squatting down and holding his head as if he has a headache. Is the sun too bright for his eyes? Whatever the reason, replacing him with something more sunny is definitely in order, and what better than a babe who is standing in some sunlight which is highlighting her figure very well indeed. Bright!

Cover Artwork Remix of Lionel Richie Hello Original Cover Artwork of Lionel Richie Hello Another AllBum.Art remix for Mr Lionel Richie. This time it's a user submitted entry from Dale Ancona of Rexburg, ID. Dale tells us:
It seems to me that Mr Richie needs his ears checked with his incessant caterwauling of 'hello'. So I thought he should be on the phone to a nurse who can syringe his darn ears out.

We see where you're coming from Dale and are more than happy to publish your contribution. Pardon?

Honest Mistake - The Bravery

Cover Artwork Remix of Bravery Honest Mistake Original Cover Artwork of Bravery Honest Mistake What do you make of the original cover artwork for the single Honest Mistake from The Bravery? It appears to show two babes wearing little more than high heels, but whose features have been so badly blurred that whether they are clothed or not is totally unclear. Thankfully, AllBum.Art can exclusively reveal that they are indeed clothed. The original picture that was so badly blurred shows two school teachers wearing the kind of clothing that they only normally wear at spring break when all of the students are miles away. Ah, apparently not, this was actually mid-semester. An easy mistake to make. Honest!

5.7.0.5. - City Boy

Cover Artwork Remix of City Boy 5705 Original Cover Artwork of City Boy 5705 City Boy's song, 5.7.0.5., is obviously about making a telephone call. But the cover of their single doesn't even have a phone on it and although the band screech on about '5705 but there's no reply, I keep calling...' they don't provide us with any idea of why they would want to call that number in the first place. Thankfully the remix answers this vexing question as we see that on the other end of the line is a very good reason for calling 5705. Now if only we could find out the area code... Dial!

The Riverboat Song - Ocean Colour Scene

Cover Artwork Remix of Ocean Colour Scene Riverboat Song Original Cover Artwork of Ocean Colour Scene Riverboat Song Another nautical remix, this time from Ocean Colour Scene who are sailing along in The Riverboat Song. The original cover shows us the band and maybe, just possibly, they used a fish-eye lens to give their slightly squinted perspective. But far better might be a babe on a boat, on a river. And better still if she is a hot babe, who needs to be on the boat to keep cool. Tepid!

It Keeps Rainin' (Tears From My Eyes) - Bitty Mclean

Cover Artwork Remix of Bitty Mclean It Keeps Rainin Original Cover Artwork of Bitty Mclean It Keeps Rainin A reggae song about rain. On the one hand, it does rain a lot in the Caribbean, being tropical and all. On the other, keeping raining does not make a good tourist advertisement for the region. So kudos to Bitty Mclean for his song It Keeps Rainin' (Tears From My Eyes) for balancing out these contradictory confabulations. The only problem - the cover of his single shows no rain. The remix, however, does show rain and continues the contradictory confabulations by having both the damp, dismalness of the rain and the delightful delicacy of a babe who is clearly very, very, soggy. Damp!

Horny - Mousse T Versus Hot 'N' Juicy

Cover Artwork Remix of Mousse T Horny Original Cover Artwork of Mousse T Horny One of those songs that evokes summer vacations of yore, drinking all night, kissing strangers and worse, Horny by Mousse T Versus Hot 'N' Juicy is the archetypical spring break anthem. So why does the cover show a lounge lizard lothario and two bored looking babes? No doubt they are the Mousse, Hot and Juicy referred to in the title. The remix just shows a naked babe, wearing horns. So much more typical of excess don't you think? Tequila!
