Cover Artwork Remix of Commodores Brick House Original Cover Artwork of Commodores Brick House This remix of Brick House by Commodores was sent to us by regular contributor Phil Darnall of Great Britain. Phil says:
This song is about a woman so big, they sing about her being a brick house. In England we use the term brick shit house. Either way, the original cover doesn't show any house. On the remix I have put a woman who could be either a brick house or a brick shit house, both seem quite appropriate.

We can see that. Thanks for the remix Phil. Blubbery!

In Your Car - Kenickie

Cover Artwork Remix of Kenickie In Your Car Original Cover Artwork of Kenickie In Your Car What is In Your Car? More importantly what is in Kenickie's car? Quite obviously, from the original single cover artwork, what is in Kenickie's car is the band members themselves, though in cartoon format. And the car is toony too. On the remix we find what we would like to find in our car (and maybe you would like to find in your car too), that is a babe wearing nothing other than a smile and her stiletto heels. Drive!

So Pure - Baby D

Cover Artwork Remix of Baby D So Pure Original Cover Artwork of Baby D So Pure So Pure. Like snow? Like fragrance-free soap? Like distilled water? No. According to the original single cover artwork, Baby D tells us that what is pure, is a lightning storm. Maybe it is pure, but it is also messy and dangerous. On the remix we find a babe who is, in some ways very pure and in others very impure. Just focus on the pure elements, and this remix makes sense. Focus on the impure and it is about as logical as Doctor McCoy. Trek!

The Bends - Radiohead

Cover Artwork Remix of Radiohead The Bends Original Cover Artwork of Radiohead The Bends Another remix for Radiohead, anyone would have thought that we had planned that! Today it is the turn of their 1995 album The Bends. The original cover artwork for the album is another of their epic fails. Its only saving grace is that it might have been bendy if you took the album out of the sleeve and just played with the sleeve. The remix is simple. A babe who has the bends. So much so that she is heels over head. Chair!

All Wrapped Up In Cash - Johnny Cash Played By Nashville Fiddles

Cover Artwork Remix of Johnny Cash All Wrapped Up In Cash Original Cover Artwork of Johnny Cash All Wrapped Up In Cash All Wrapped Up In Cash was an album by the Nashville Fiddles in which they played some Johnny Cash numbers. On the original cover they take the correct approach of picturing a babe who is wrapped up in cash but not much else. On the remix the same approach has been taken, the only slight difference is that the babe concerned has a few less dollar bills covering her up. That and the fact that she is upside-down. Invert!

Angel - Ohio Players

Cover Artwork Remix of Ohio Players Angel Original Cover Artwork of Ohio Players Angel Regular visitors to the AllBum.Art web-site will recognize the fact that we do like a good Angel to remix. So in our continuing week-long Ohio Players special, it seems fitting to remix this heavenly album cover. On the original cover we find a babe who could be described as angelic, but is missing her wings. On the remix, there is nothing more than a full-blown angel sitting waiting for something or other. Maybe she is waiting for someone to start playing the album. Pensive!

Ghostdancing - Simple Minds

Cover Artwork Remix of Simple Minds Ghostdancing Original Cover Artwork of Simple Minds Ghostdancing We were not sure whether Ghostdancing by Simple Minds should also be in our list of halloween hits but we've added it there anyway. The odd thing is that on the original single cover artwork there are no ghosts, and no dancing going on. On the remix, both these flaws are corrected and we can finally see what ghostly dancing looks like. Etheric!

Pretty Good Year - Tori Amos

Cover Artwork Remix of Tori Amos Pretty Good Year Original Cover Artwork of Tori Amos Pretty Good Year Will this year be a Pretty Good Year? According to Tori Amos, it could be. How has this been illustrated on the front cover of her single, well with nothing greater than a picture of Ms Amos looking pretty. On the remix we find a New Year's party in full swing with a lot more pretty to choose from, as long as babes who appear to be inhabiting an English country pub are your kind of thing. Happy New Year!

Rockin' Robin - Lolly

Cover Artwork Remix of Lolly Rockin Robin Original Cover Artwork of Lolly Rockin Robin Twiddly diddly dee, it's Lolly and her friend the Rockin' Robin. Twiddly diddly dee, it seems that to represent this seasonal classic, Lolly has decorated her forehead with snowflakes. Twiddly diddly dee, on the remix we find a babe with a red breast, which must mean she is a robin, though it is more usual to spell it robyn if it's a girl. Twiddly diddly dee, that's an improvement and all that remains is to check if she is rockin'. As far as we can tell, she rocks! Twiddly diddly dee!

White Christmas - Darts

Cover Artwork Remix of Darts White Christmas Original Cover Artwork of Darts White Christmas In a way, cover versions (or versions of a cover) is what AllBum.Art is all about, so it is particularly prescient that today's remix is of a cover version of White Christmas by Darts. Of course we all know it's originally by Bong Crispy which is why, on the original cover of the cover version, the band are looking a little sad. Probably. On the remix we just find a babe who is wearing white at Christmas time, at least it's probably Christmas as it's cold and snowy. What random and pointless logic. Flagpole!
