Cover Artwork Remix of Jimmy Reed Christmas Present Blues Original Cover Artwork of Jimmy Reed Christmas Present Blues Melancholy Jimmy Reed has got the Christmas Present Blues. Not much that can be done about that. But we can cheer up the cover of his single. Now let's think, what might cheer up Mr Reed? Perhaps a picture with some Christmas presents in it? Yes, that would be a good start. And what if they're wrapped in blue ribbon. Great, now we're getting somewhere. And to top it off, a busty blonde babe in blue lingerie too. Perfect!

Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry

Cover Artwork Remix of Chuck Berry Run Rudolph Run Original Cover Artwork of Chuck Berry Run Rudolph Run Chuck Berry issues a wise mantra to the most famous reindeer in his song Run Rudolph Run, but the cover of this 1958 song does nothing to explain why it is that the one with the shiny red nose should travel so quickly. Is it to deliver presents on time? No! As we can clearly see in the remix, it is because a sexy babe in a bikini is chasing after reindeer with a shotgun, of course. That makes complete sense. Pull!

Snow - JJ72

Cover Artwork Remix of Jj7 Snow Original Cover Artwork of Jj72 Snow As the calendar flips over to December and winter approaches, it's time to start remixing wintery artwork. Today is the turn of JJ72 whose original cover for their single Snow only really represents the title of the song through the grainy interpretation of the odd picture that sits at the center of the cover. The remix is equally subtle as we see a young babe blowing snow from her icy hands. But look carefully and, oh yes, now I see it, she doesn't appear to be wearing any clothes. Arctic!

Ugly - Sugababes

Cover Artwork Remix of Sugababes Ugly Original Cover Artwork of Sugababes Ugly Whatever your view of British babe band Sugababes, Ugly is probably not a word that immediately springs to mind. Which is what makes the cover of their single so ironically misfitting, as the title is ugly but the picture is not. Leap forward some alternative babes to grace the cover who bring the song's title to life. Are they ugly? Of course that depends on your taste, but compared to the original babes, they certainly aren't pretty. Maybe a few fewer clothes may have helped. Then again, maybe not. Awful!

Firestarter - The Prodigy

Cover Artwork Remix of Prodigy Firestarter Original Cover Artwork of Prodigy Firestarter Over in little ol' England, November 5th is a day where they celebrate a failed attempt by Guy Fawkes to burn down the English parliament in 1605. Boy, do those guys bear grudges for a long time. But as a show of brotherly love, we bring you a remix of Firestarter by British band The Prodigy who no doubt had exactly this day of the year in mind when they wrote the song. The cover shows a woman trying to start a fire. In the remix we see a different woman but one who is far more successful, in so many ways. Ouch!

Hot Right Now - DJ Fresh Featuring Rita Ora

Cover Artwork Remix of Dj Fresh Hot Right Now Original Cover Artwork of Dj Fresh Hot Right Now Hot Right Now? You will be when you see the remix to the cover artwork of this single by DJ Fresh Featuring Rita Ora. Let's, for once, just completely ignore and instead focus only on the remix. A babe (possibly Asian) who could well be naked but whose body is obscured by the towel she is holding and by the barrel in which she is standing. All around is snow and ice but under the barrel is a fire. So is she hot right now? Difficult to say but if the fire goes out she will certainly be cold very soon. Crack!

Devil Woman - Cliff Richard

Cover Artwork Remix of Cliff Richard Devil Woman Original Cover Artwork of Cliff Richard Devil Woman Another remix for Cliff Richard but this time with a Halloween theme. Mr Richard sings about a Devil Woman, but the cover of his single shows only Mr Richard singing about a devil woman. There's no indication of who the woman might be or what about her it is that makes her so devilish. In the remix we see the devil woman. She is clearly a woman and has horns, which must be why Mr Richard thought she was Ms Satan. Sadly for Mr Richard, it's just a dressing up outfit and Ms Satan is probably an angel in disguise. Presley!

Dust In The Wind - Kansas

Cover Artwork Remix of Kansas Dust In The Wind Original Cover Artwork of Kansas Dust In The Wind What can be said about the original single front cover artwork for Dust In The Wind by Kansas? It seems to feature a half woman, half bird, half brass creature in front of a circular dust storm. It makes complete sense, that is, if your idea of sense is nonsensical nonsense sense. On the remix we find a babe who is not made of dust, but whose dress has blown up in the wind. There's nothing particularly dusty about that. Meh!

Fuck Me Pumps - Amy Winehouse

Cover Artwork Remix of Amy Winehouse Fmp Original Cover Artwork of Amy Winehouse Fmp One should never speak ill of the dead, or so they say, but with the month of October beckoning, perhaps pointing out the glaring mistake in the cover of their single is permissible. The cover of Fuck Me Pumps by the now deceased Amy Winehouse shows Ms Winehouse lounging around but, and here's the missing bit, her pumps are not easy to discern given the position she is sitting in. In the remix we see a babe who has taken the title more than literally and seems to be trying to fuck a pair of pumps. Screw!

Jackie - Scott Walker

Cover Artwork Remix of Scott Walker Jackie Original Cover Artwork of Scott Walker Jackie Always nice to receive a well thought through remix from someone who is clearly a bit mad. Dave Wilson of London, England has sent us this remix of the single Jackie by Scott Walker. Dave takes up the story:
Jackie was the name of a pirate radio station in the 1980s in London and used this song as their theme. As a boy listening to the radio I often dreamed about what Jackie must look like and was disappointed when I saw the cover of the song and found that Jackie was not there. I always imagined here as being a swash-buckling sea-wench and when I saw your site it inspired me to rekindle my childhood fantasies and do a remix.

Nothing mad there, you might think. But then again, you might not think, and that would be mad. A-harrr!
