sydney youngblood sit and wait 2sydney youngblood sit and wait 1Sydney Youngblood is asking us to Sit And Wait. In order to help us to understand why, the original single front cover artwork shows Mr Youngblood in what we can only assume to be his most pleading pose. On the remix, we find a babe who has followed his instructions and who is sitting and waiting for something or someone. That someone would be quite lucky as she seems to be wearing nothing more than her panties and high heels. Maybe she is called Patience!

Bad - Michael Jackson

michael jackson bad 2michael jackson bad 1Michael Jackson proclaims himself to be Bad, which is at odds with the views here in the AllBum.Art office, as most of us generally agree that the so-called king of pop was, in reality, quite good. Maybe Mr Jackson is referring to the rather odd jacket he is wearing which has far too many buckles on it to be good. On the remix we simply find a babe wearing a baseball cap with the word 'bad' written on it and given what she is wearing, it seems that this would be a fitting description of her. Awful!

(Waiting For) The Ghost Train - Madness

madness ghost train 2madness ghost train 1Madness are (Waiting For) The Ghost Train. The odd thing, then, about the original single front cover artwork is that the train that is on the platform in front of them appears, to all intents and purposes, to be solid and not made of ectoplasm. On the remix we find a solitary babe who is walking along some spookily dark railroad tracks. Behind her are the lights of a train which does appear to be more ghost-like. All aboard!

West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys

pet shop boys west end girls 2pet shop boys west end girls 1West End Girls is a classic song by the Pet Shop Boys, but until we received this user-submitted remix by Simon Andrews of London, we didn't know what it meant. Apparently, the West End, is part of London in England where all the rich chicks hang out. On the remix Simon has provided us, we see his interpretation of the kind of babes you could find in the West End. If that's what London looks like, get us on a plane now. Rule Britannia!

Hold Me In Your Arms - Rick Astley

rick astley hold me in your arms 2rick astley hold me in your arms 1Hold Me In Your Arms was both an album and a single for Rick Astley. On the original cover artwork, we can't even see Mr Astley's arms, just his head and collarbones. On the remix we find a babe who is being held in the arms of what is presumably her boyfriend or husband. He seems to be dressed in a tuxedo and ready to go out to a party. She is dressed in nothing but high heels, which makes you wonder exactly what kind of party they are going to. Swing!

The Wanderer - Status Quo

status quo the wanderer 2status quo the wanderer 1Status Quo are one of the most remixed artists here at AllBum.Art. They seem to have a big fan base among our British visitors who send us lots of cover artwork they have worked on. This one comes from Mark Hudson who tells us that the original cover for The Wanderer, though it shows a guitar case that a wanderer might carry, doesn't show us who the wanderer is. On the remix we find a babe wandering off down the street. But not only has she forgotten her guitar, but all her clothes too. Thanks Mark - keep them coming (if there are any Status Quo songs left that haven't yet been remixed). Amble!

The Chinese Way - Level 42

level 42 the chinese way 2level 42 the chinese way 1Having taken lessons in love from Level 42, let us allow them to instruct us on what The Chinese Way is. On the original single cover artwork, our learning is that the Chinese way is to look vaguely afro-american but wear a red hat and carry a fan with some Chinese characters on it. On the remix, provided to you by AllBum.Art, we learn more about the Chinese way, which appears to be to walk through ancient doorways wearing high heels and pantyhose. Inscrutable!

Walk Away - Joyce Sims

joyce sims walk away 2joyce sims walk away 1Joyce Sims is telling us to Walk Away. But other than a photo of Ms Sims, there is next to nothing on the original single front cover artwork that indicates what we should walk away from, or why. On the remix these problems are fixed. What we should walk away from is a mature granny who is flaunting her saggy body at us. Why? Do you really need an answer to that question? Plenty more fish in the sea, as the saying goes. Throw that whale back!

Hooverville (And They Promised Us The World) - The Christians

the christians hooverville 2the christians hooverville 1Apparently the residents of Hooverville promised us the world, or so The Christians would make us believe. Now we are not sure what you would expect a town with a name like Hoovervill to look like, but according the original single front cover, it is a fairly dreary place with derelict buildings and dusty roads. On the remix we find a different vision of Hooverville with, quite simply, a babe hoovering her home. Suck!

Wishing I Was Lucky - Wet Wet Wet

wet wet wet wishing i was lucky 2wet wet wet wishing i was lucky 1According to Wet Wet Wet, when they were Wishing I Was Lucky, the first thing that sprung to their mind when putting together the original single front cover artwork was a dark city street, with pictures of the band members strewn on a dirty wall in a haphazard fashion. On the remixed artwork, we find that wishing you are lucky brings you a naked babe showering in a waterfall. Presumably she is wet, though whether she is triply wet is difficult to determine from a distance. Soaking!
