Cover Artwork Remix of Jigsaw Sky High Original Cover Artwork of Jigsaw Sky High There are many possible interpretations of Sky High. It could mean high, in the sky (obviously). Or it could refer to something that is very high, like high heels. On the original cover of the single by Jigsaw we find none of this, just a drawing of the band members and a jigsaw. On the remix we find an airline stewardess, who presumably flies high in the sky. And she is wearing very high heels, which could also be sky high. Double bubble!

Cover Artwork Remix of Rupert Holmes Escape Original Cover Artwork of Rupert Holmes Escape Escape by Rupert Holmes is one of those songs which is better know by a different title, in this case it is more widely recognized as The Piña Colada Song. You know, the one that goes 'If you like Piña Coladas, and getting caught in the rain'. The original cover of the single alludes to escape, in that someone has their hands cuffed. On the remix, we find a babe whose hands are also cuffed, and she is chained. Her escape may be a little more difficult. No sign of rain though. Cocktail!

The Jean Genie - David Bowie

Cover Artwork Remix of David Bowie The Jean Genie Original Cover Artwork of David Bowie The Jean Genie Another remix for David Bowie. On the original single cover artwork for The Jean Genie you will find Mr Bowie in a flowery shirt, white boots and what look like white trousers. These might have been classed as jeans in the 1970s but they looks suspiciously unlike any jeans we have seen. On the remix is a babe wearing jeans, or what's left of them. She seems to have been mauled by a goat, or perhaps a genie, and as well as ripping her jeans, she seems to have lost her shirt too. Torn!

Those Shoes - Eagles

Cover Artwork Remix of Eagles Those Shoes Original Cover Artwork of Eagles Those Shoes Another remix for the Eagles, in the form of Those Shoes. The original cover artwork shows the band members looking rather annoyed at something, but there are no signs of any shoes. The remix shows a babe lying on a bed wearing very little other than a pair of shoes. Was this what the band members were looking at? If so, why were they so annoyed looking? Nothing makes any sense any more. Earrings!

Queen Of Chinatown - Amanda Lear

Cover Artwork Remix of Amanda Lear Queen Of Chinatown Original Cover Artwork of Amanda Lear Queen Of Chinatown It is uncertain on what basis Amanda Lear proclaims herself Queen Of Chinatown. If the front cover artwork is to be believed, all that is necessary is to sit cross-legged on the floor in red boots and a black body suit. The remix does away with the boots, replacing them with yellow stilettos, and the black body suit is gone as well but the cross-leggedness remains. Princess!

Original Cover Artwork of Bryan Ferry Lets Stick Together Cover Artwork Remix of Bryan Ferry Lets Stick Together Cover Artwork Remix of Bryan Ferry Lets Stick Together
A triple-play from none other than Roxy Music front man Bryan Ferry and his song Let's Stick Together. On the original single front cover artwork we find Mr Ferry standing in front of a microphone, but he does not appear to be stuck to it. On the first remix we find two babes wearing hats, feather boas and high heels and not much else who are close enough together that they may well be stuck. And on the final remix we find two babes who appear to be covered in some kind of glue, and who are clearly sticking together. Wise!

Cover Artwork Remix of Roy Ayers Everybody Loves The Sunshine Original Cover Artwork of Roy Ayers Everybody Loves The Sunshine Not just one or two people, but Everybody Loves The Sunshine, according to Roy Ayers Ubiquity. To demonstrate this, on the original single front cover artwork, we find Mr Ayers in a sunny yellow t-shirt. On the remix we find a babe who is actually outside enjoying the sunshine, dipping her body in the sea by a boat. Nice looking bikini she has on. Chainmail!

In The Summertime - Mungo Jerry

Original Cover Artwork of Mungo Jerry In The Summertime Cover Artwork Remix of Mungo Jerry In The Summertime A sunny, summery remix for Mungo Jerry. On the original single front cover artwork for In The Summertime, we find the band members lolling about by a rather uninspiring waterfall, maybe that was regarded as summery in the 1970s? On the remix we find a babe doing some lolling of her own but somewhere definitely sunny, on a sandy beach with a beautiful azure ocean and a blue sky reaching out in front of her. Simmer!

Love Train - O'Jays

Cover Artwork Remix of Ojays Love Train Original Cover Artwork of Ojays Love Train People all over the world, join the Love Train, or so instructed the O'Jays back in 1973. The original cover of their song did nothing to encourage such an activity though, unless your idea of a love train, is one where the O'Jays sing non-stop for the whole journey. Ours is a little different. On the remix we see a whole new reason for boarding the love train that is nothing to do with musical renditions of disco songs. Toot toot!

Dance With The Devil - Cozy Powell

Cover Artwork Remix of Cozy Powell Dance With The Devil Original Cover Artwork of Cozy Powell Dance With The Devil Dance With The Devil, is what Cozy Powell tells us that we should be doing. On the original single front cover artwork, Mr Powell helps us visualize this by smoking a cigarette in black and white. On the remix we find a devil who is dancing, tempting us to join in. Beware though, because it's know that dancing with the devil can lead to boogieing with Beelzebub and you wouldn't want that now would you? Lucifer!
