Another remix for Creedence Clearwater Revival, this time for their single Down On The Corner. On the original front cover artwork for the song, we find the band members peering out at us. On the remix we find a babe standing or leaning in the corner of a room. Whether she is down we can't tell, but she doesn't look that comfortable with nothing but a collar and some nipple clamps to keep her warm, so perhaps she is a little down after all. Chain!

We think Sailor may have had One Drink Too Many when putting together the original single front cover artwork for their song as we find the band members standing around with their instruments but with no drink in sight. On the remix we find a babe with a bottle in her hand, glugging down what seems to be some kind of alcoholic fruit drink based on the fuzzy picture on the bottle. How do we know she has had one drink too many? We don't, but the fact that she appears to be naked is a clue of a kind. Cider!

Time for another remix for Boney M with their song Ma Baker, and it's a triple-play no less. On the original single front cover artwork we see the band members tied up in chains and little else. On the first remix the same idea is repeated but just with a single babe tightly tied. On the second remix we find a Ma in her kitchen resting after doing some baking. Cake!

Another of these 1970s single covers where the band have shown nothing more of interest than the band itself. On the original cover artwork for Wishing Well by Free, there is no well, and nothing to wish for. On the remix we find a babe who is sitting by a wishing well. How do we know it is a wishing well? Simple really, because the last time we through a dime in a wishing well, the babe in the picture was exactly the kind of outcome we had wished for. Dreamy!

Whilst we are on the subject of coffee, here is another beany remix. On the original single cover artwork for Java Jive by The Manhattan Transfer, we find the band members looking dapper in their 1930s inspired outfits. But where's the coffee people? It's on the remix where we find a babe enjoying a cup of dark roast java in her local coffee emporium. An emporium, it would seem, where the drinking of coffee does not have to be accompanied by the wearing of clothes. Slurp!

The weird thing is that coffee isn't actually black, it's more of a kind of dark brown color. Even white coffee is still brown. Nevertheless, Humble Pie decided to name their single Black Coffee. The original single cover artwork shows nothing more than the band playing. Maybe they are playing black coffee, but there is nothing to indicate this. On the remix we find a babe who has buried herself in coffee beans. Why is unknown, but the result is very fetching. Decaffeinate!

It seems that all that Rattles believe is necessary on the original single cover artwork for their single The Witch, to make us believe that there is a witch is for one of the band members to hide in a shed and beckon the other band members to join her through the use of a crooked finger and a wooden stick. We don't think so. So on the first remix we find a babe who is also using a wooden stick but is much more enticing. On the final remix we find a babe who has done without the wooden stick altogether, but seems to be in the altogether. How do we know she is a witch? Easy, she is wearing a hat. Spellbinding!

According to Elvis Costello, (The Angels Wanna Wear) Red Shoes. What is therefore highly disappointing is that the cover of his single doesn't give any indication of why, who, where or any solve any other inquisitive statements. Indeed even Mr Costello is not wearing red shoes. On the remix we find an angel who is wearing red shoes. Why she would wanna do this is not clear though, as white ones would have gone far better with her outfit. Matching!

As you know, we here at AllBum.Art particularly like single artwork where the artists have made an effort to portray the name of the song on the cover. Hawkwind have singularly failed this task on the cover of their single Silver Machine. Not only is there no machine visible, but neither is there any sign of a machine. On the remix, we have rectified this situation and we find a shiny silver motorbike engine. Oh, and a cute babe sitting in front of it. Vroom!

This remix of Brick House by Commodores was sent to us by regular contributor Phil Darnall of Great Britain. Phil says:

This song is about a woman so big, they sing about her being a brick house. In England we use the term brick shit house. Either way, the original cover doesn't show any house. On the remix I have put a big boobed woman (BBW) who could be either a brick house or a brick shit house, or just shit, all descriptions seem equally appropriate.
