This Year's Love is what David Gray sings about and being January, we were keen to see how this year's love differed from last year's. However, the original single cover artwork does not help with this as all we find is a picture of Mr Gray looking, well, for want of a better word, grey. On the remix we find a babe that would make a far better love for this year, though she has an equally ashen facial expression. Smile!

When Cord sing about Winter on their single (and album of the same name) we expect more on the cover than a girl holding a bear standing around in front of a newsagent, but that is what is found on the original cover artwork. On the remix we find three babes who are also standing around and one of them is bare and this time it's definitely winter as there's lots of snow on the ground. Why they are in this predicament is anyone's guess. Melting!

Brr.... It's December and the days are getting shorter, and the nights longer (which isn't always a bad thing). Here we find that Girls Aloud are of a similar mind as they tell us that Life Got Cold. On the original single cover artwork, though, they don't look that cold, even if one of them is wearing both a t-shirt and a jacked. On the remix we find a babe for who life has gotten very cold, not least as she is walking through a snow-tipped forest with no jacket or t-shirt. Chilly!

What would you expect to find on the front artwork for Cutt Off by Kasabian? Maybe it is what might just, if you squinted at it in the right light, appear to be a man's face covered in a cloth, with his forehead all stripey like. That is clearly what the band thought when they put the single cover together. On the remix we find a babe holding a pair of scissors to a top she is wearing which is precariously short in the first place. One snip and it truly will be cut off. Severed!

What is Too Close for Blue? Maybe it is the photographer, though he seems to have framed the band fairly well on the original front cover artwork. Maybe it is the band who are too close to each other. Either way, on the remix, we find two babes who are also standing close to each other but whether this constitutes being too close is, of course, matter of opinion. But wait, there is something else, they look nearly identical to each other meaning that they are too close to tell apart. Twins!

Oh dear... When Jurgen Vries featuring Andrea Britton produced the original single cover artwork for Take My Hand, they clearly had brain-freeze about what to put on it, because other than the name of the artist and the title of the song, they didn't put anything else at all. On the remix we find two babes holding hands and walking into the sun. You see, that would have been so simple for them to do, wouldn't it? Wander!

Britpop rockers Oasis feature for today's remix of their single Falling Down. On the original cover artwork we find some kind of weird flower, dart board, army, Shakespeare combo. On the remix, we find a babe whose towel is falling down. Why there is a white apple on the window ledge is another question, and one that may have escaped your attention given that with the towel having fallen down, the babe is all but naked. Descend!

There is surely nothing like a Fire to warm you up on a cold autumn evening, is there? Well if the original single cover artwork that Kasabian produced was to be our guide, that would not be the case. On the remix, though, we find a babe who is obviously being warmed by the blazing fire behind her, to the extent that she has felt the need to remove most of her clothes to cool down. Icy!

Hey Ya by Outkast is known by many people as 'shake it like a Polaroid', which is why we thought that the original single cover artwork could handle a bit of a remix. On the original cover we find the two band members in a combination of yellow and pale blue outfits. On the remix is a babe taking a Polaroid selfie of herself in a mirror. No doubt in just a few short seconds she will be standing up and shaking it. Groovy!

If we were to use the original single cover artwork for Star Girl by McFly as a guide to the nature of the song, we would be lost as there are no stars and no girls. In fact, one of the band members looks very confused as he is scratching his head. On the remix we find a babe who we presume is the kind of girl you would find on a space mission. Why is this? Because she has orange hair and appears to be squatting down in a mysteriously blue corridor such as you would find on a space ship, obviously. Fly!
