Some bands make so little effort with the covers of their songs and the original cover of Mama's Pearl by The Jackson 5 is one of these. Why the band had so little imagination other than to use a plain red cover is anyone's guess. Well it was, until we carefully removed the red covering to reveal the picture underneath. Now it's clear why they painted over the picture of mama with her pearls in red paint. She seems to think that wearing pearls, and nothing but pearls, is a good idea. Oh, mama!

Another remix for British band Oasis, this time for their 1995 single Wonderwall. The original cover shows a girl standing in a park whilst someone holds up the frame of a picture in front of her. One can only wonder what this has to do with a wall. The remix shows a similar picture, but instead of the girl being inside the frame, she has mysteriously disappeared. This is, arguably, more wondrous than the original picture whilst retaining no connection to any kind of wall whatsoever. Brick!

Yesterday we took a walk in the park, today we are studying the Parklife, as defined by Blur. It seems that the band's view of the kind of life that is found in a park is greyhound racing. We are not sure what constitutes a park in Britain where the band are from, but surely even in England parks have grass and trees and oh, look, there's a squirrel. So the remix solves this and replaces the greyhound with more typical life in a park. Some poor woman being chastised by her husband. Oh, and a squirrel - can you see it? Hidden!

Another song that has a title so demanding of a remix that it would be a travesty not to do so: A Walk In The Park by the Nick Straker Band. Why does this so demand a remix? Well the title, for one. Why not show a babe going for a walk in a part, now that would be sensible. And 'straker' is almost the same as 'streaker', so if that babe was almost naked, it would be a doubly devilish remix. And that, folks, is what we have provided for you. Stroll!

Ahoy there, it's July 4 so time for a homeland themed remix. Here is Miss America by Big Dish. On the original single front cover there is a Miss, who may or may not be American, it's difficult to tell. On the remix is a babe who also may or may not be American, but either way she is celebrating Independence Day with the star spangled banner in more than one way. Stretchy!

As the summer heats up, we begin adding to the AllBum.Art collection of summer sizzlers. Today is is the turn of Sandman and his 1997 single Dancing On The Beach. If there has every been a more obvious need for a remix it is this poor effort. All that was needed to add some sizzle was to replace the original picture of the singer with two babes dancing on a beach. Could it be any easier? Simple!

Perhaps a truism by Genesis on the cover of their single Throwing It All Away. And what might that be? The fact that they have thrown away the chance to have a sexy cover for their song, and instead insisted on appearing on the single themselves. Megalomaniacs. We have solved their megalomania for them by replacing the band members by a babe who is throwing what is left of what she had to start with away, and thus is in the very last stages of throwing it all away. Now all she needs to do is pick it all up again, unless anyone is willing to assist? Me first!

What were the boys of boy band East 17 thinking when they prepared the cover for their single Hold My Body Tight. Presumably they were thinking that if they put pictures of their own half-clad bodies on the artwork their fans would want to hold their bodies tightly. They were probably right, back in the day. But today, we look at things very differently. Very differently indeed, as the remix shows a babe whose body is being held very tightly indeed. Very!

A regular sight on the AllBum.Art site, Simply Red grace the screen once again with their single Angel. Yes, we know that we have some kind of angel fixation and that we're always finding excuses to show pictures of sexy angelic babes but can you really blame us, when the original cover of the single just shows the lead singer sitting in a chair? No, we didn't think so, when we can remix it to show an angelic babe with her fluttery red angel wings. Ascend!

It's not often that we do something like this here at AllBum.Art, but for the remix of the cover artwork of Linger by the Cranberries, we have tinkered with the title of the song. On the original cover of the single we see a young girl sat playing a church organ. On the remix it could be the same girl some years later, playing a piano in a similarly moodily lit environment. And what is she wearing? Linger(ie). See what we did there?
