Pool Hall Richard - The Faces

faces pool hall richard remixfaces pool hall richard 1Who is Pool Hall Richard? Sadly, we may never know as The Faces chose to display a silhouette of the band members on the cover of their single instead of aiding us by answering the question. In the remix, the answer is still no clearer, but what we do learn is that there seems to be a hot babe sitting on the pool table with her panties around her ankles and naught more than her high heels on. What we therefore learn, is that Richard has great taste in babes. Eight ball!

Blue Jean - David Bowie

david bowie blue jean 2david bowie blue jean 1David Bowie is a regular source of remixes here at AllBum.Art so finding Blue Jean here is no real surprise. What is surprising is that the original cover, though very blue, does not introduce us to Jean, whoever she may be. On the remix we find a babe who may, or may not, be called Jean. But she is wearing denim. Whether she is wearing blue jeans is less clear but does that part of the story matter so much? Indigo!

Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band

starland vocal band afternoon delight 2starland vocal band afternoon delight 1Looking for a little Afternoon Delight, that is what the Starland Vocal Band were trying to do but sadly the cover of their single fails to do this in any satisfactory way. A yellow lion hardly portrays a time of day, let alone an associated emotion. The remix fixed this with a group of ladies sitting around drinking afternoon tea. Why they are largely naked is unknown, but those Brits can be very weird at times, don't you know? Spiffing!

Amorica - Black Crowes

What screams 'Fourth of July' better than Amorica by the Black Crowes. Or more specifically, the nice star spangled banner that adorns the front of the cover of the album. Or even more specifically, the promise of sexy celebrations that lies beneath the flag. Our first remix makes the flag just a little bit smaller, and the promise that much more obvious. On the second remix, the flag-pole seems to have broken somewhere and the promise is there for all to see. Long live Amorica!

Sunshine - Gabrielle

gabrielle sunshine remixgabrielle sunshine 1What better way to start July than with a song about Sunshine, and so we find ourselves remixing a song with just that name by Gabrielle. We struggled with the original cover, to decide whether the odd lighting conditions were caused by sunshine, or whether they were a symptom of a badly set-up camera. The remix does away with all of these questions by showing a hot babe, sizzling in the sunshine. Now why couldn't they have done that in the first place? Initial!

Surprise - Bizarre Inc

bizarre inc surprise remixxbizarre inc surprise 1Another in our very exclusive series of 'triple-X-rated' remixes, or Remi-XXX-es as we like to call them. This time it is the turn of Bizarre Inc, and their single Surprise. On the original cover we find what can only really be described as a hat. If there is anything surprising about it, it might be the fact that it seems to be made of candy. On the remix we find something very surprising, a mature mom, who is flashing her goodies for the world to see, with a look on her face that clearly says 'surprise', as if she is trying to prove to another family member that she does, in fact, dare to bare all. We sincerely hope this isn't your mom, otherwise you're surprise may be greater than we had anticipated. Shock!

Sky - Sonique

sonique sky remixsonique sky 1Ah, yes, Sky, by Sonique. But oh, the sky that is supposedly in the background of the original cover artwork for the single is not real. How can we tell, well the horizontal striping is a bit of a dead giveaway, unless there were some very odd cloud formations on the day the picture was taken. The remix has far more realistic sky, but did you notice or did you just spot the cute babe? Cumulonimbus!

db boulevard point of view remixdb boulevard point of view 1What is the Point Of View of db Boulevard? An interesting question whose answer seems to be to do with cardboard cut-outs, including one of a giant billboard with the band's name on it. The remix, on the other hand, shows a far more picturesque point of view with rolling mountains and lush countryside and, oh, wait, a naked babe holding a picture frame. Artistic!

Mr President - Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick & Titch

dbmt mr president 2dbmt mr president 1Some might say that the remix of Mr President by Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick & Titch (DBM&T) is a little too subtle, other than, of course, showing a teen babe flashing her ass at us. Why might they think this? Largely because you have to look quite closely to see that the picture has been taken in a fairly true-to-life mock-up of the oval office. Note the US flag at the back on the left, and the mahogany piano. So that's what the president keeps in his office then. Keys!

Point Of View - Matumbi

matumbi point of view remixmatumbi point of view 1What is Matumbi's Point Of View? A red jacket, yellow tie and black shirt on a hanger in front of a green curtain, that's what. Yes, some very obscure metaphorical analogies going on here because we assume that they have taken the point of view of someone who has no idea about how to produce covers for music. Then again, the remixed point of view may not be to everyone's taste, in fact it might be to very few people's taste unless those people happen to like looking up at hairy old women. Vertigo!
